Update from Arkansas!

It's about that time! I finally remembered my password to update this thing! haha! I wanted to upload some pictures of our big family trip we took for christmas/new years! My grandma took us all to Maui and it was so unbeleivable! When we left I cried because I knew where I was coming back too and beleive me, once you go to maui you will NEVER want to leave.

We stayed in this house on a private beach and every morning you would wake up to eat breakfast and there would be 3 whales jumping in and out of the water. We had a lemon tree in our yard and everyday we would go pick some fresh lemons for lemonade :-D YUMMY! I just wanted to upload some pictures... I figured it was about time! Enjoy :-)

The 1st picture is of Banyan and I. The 2nd is of this tree called a Rainbow Eucaluptus (it looks fake! But it's real ;-) ) The 3rd is one with the whole family! The 4th is double rainbows. And the 5th is just some of around the island!

It can't be Christmas yet!!!!

First of all this is my first blog and lets just say my gift isn't in writing proper. I am from Arkansas and I know that's not an excuse but I choose to use it right now ;-).

Wow! I can't believe how fast time flies! It seems like from the time I got married until now has just flown by to fast for words. Christmas season is finally among us, only 15 more days until it's finally here. This is my favorite holiday and not because of the presents (although that is a nice perk! haha! just teasing) but because of the reason we celebrate. This Holiday is different that all the others and it's so fun to see everyone getting into the spirit of Christmas. I can't wait until 10 years go by... my house will be flooded with Christmas decor! This year we won't be here for Christmas day and we will be spending that time with my family on a vacation to Maui. Naturally, I am very excited about this trip and I am looking forward to seeing the ocean and having my feet firmly planted on the sand. But a little piece of me is going to miss being here in my Christmas sweater in front of our tree opening presents and our stockings from Santa.

I am so exciting to be able to have two wonderful families now. It's a blessing to have a double dose of love! It's going to be fun when we start to have a family and get to share all the exciting traditions and making up a few along the way. I can't believe how fast December has flown already it seems like there isn't any time to prepare anymore! ahhhhhh! Ok now I realize I must go shopping! haha! I better get a move on! Bye bye!!
